MACFAST Forestry Club, is initiating a programme to provide water to the birds by placing bird water-feeders in various locations within the campus. The programme is being conducted in association with NSS and in continuation to the green initiatives of our college. Setting up of water-feeders was one of the recommendations post Green Audit carried out as part of the Haritha Mission. The programme is named  ‘PARAVAKALKU ORU PAANAPAATRAM’ (Transl. A (drinking) Cup for Birds) and is jointly organized by the Kerala Forests & Wildlife Department through the Social Forestry Division, Pathanamthitta. Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Thiruvalla is also providing logistic support.

With great pleasure we would like to invite you to the inaugural function of the programme on 22 February 2024 at 10 AM at the MACFAST Open Stage. The function will be inaugurated by Ms. Anu George, the Chairperson, Thiruvalla Municipality.
