World Wetlands Day is celebrated each year on 2 February to raise awareness about wetlands. In connection to World Wetlands Day, MACFAST Forestry Club is organizing a lecture session, ‘Importance of  Wetlands and Introduction to Wetland Birds’ on Wednesday, 01 February 2023 in the college Conference Hall at 4:30 PM. Dr Nishad P.M. and Mr. Blessan Santhosh George will lead the session.
