About the Department:
Post Graduate course in Food Science & Technology was started in 2002. The Department of Food Technology and Quality Assurance (DFTQA) started functioning as an independent full -fledged department in 2024 with both UG and PG Programmes. The Department aims to produce professionals who are equipped with the necessary abilities to operate in the food processing, preservation, safety, quality management, and analysis research and development sectors.
